SBControls

About SBControls

A few years back, I created a company called Springboard Creations. It originally started off to give my free lance work an identity and well, it’s now basically taken over my world. I seem to code for fun these days, all hours of the day – waking up to write down ideas too. During my time, I have built up a small toolkit that consists of some very useful controls that are easily plugged into a .Net project. These tools are being slowly released through the Springboard Creations web site and of course I’ll be blogging about them on here, including details about how the work, how to use them and how to get hold of them.

Available controls

I currently have several controls and objects in my toolkit, SBVersion, SBMail and SBSettings. These aren’t currently available due to final testing (and implementing e-Commerce on my site), but these will be added soon.

Here are my blogs so far on these controls:

  • SBVersion – checks for new releases
  • More to follow in the coming weeks

If you have any thoughts on controls you would like designed and made available, then head over to the Services section of the Springboard Creations site and you’ll find all you need to know to get in touch and start the ball rolling.

Due to be developed

I’m always looking for ways to make life easier for developers, to take out the common routine that we code from scratch or re-use, but never update in existing applications. I’ve got a database connection screen that is good for enterprise applications or if you’d like to offer multiple database options to your users – this is good for live, training and testing instances.
